The food

Four things this kitchen does

All publicly described. Each gets its own page, because the person searching for biryani and the person pricing a wedding order are not the same customer at all.

Biryani

The Hyderabadi speciality the kitchen is named for.

Curries

Flavourful curries alongside the rice dishes.

Street food

Traditional Indian street food and snacks.

Catering

The order a delivery app cannot take.

Why this page exists

Every way to order from you belongs to somebody else

Hyderabadi Swaad can be found on UberEats, on DoorDash and on a Clover ordering page. All three take a cut of every order, all three own the customer relationship, and none of them is yours.

Someone who searches for the restaurant by name lands in an app, orders through the app, and becomes the app’s customer rather than yours. The margin goes with them. A site of your own does not have to replace those platforms — it just has to give the people who already want your food somewhere direct to go.

The regulars are the ones you are paying most to serve.
Deliberately blank

What a direct route would need

All blank, because none of it is published outside a delivery app:

  • Do you take phone orders for pickup — ?
  • Do you deliver yourself, or only via the apps — ?
  • Minimum order and delivery radius — ?
  • Typical wait for a pickup order — ?
  • Is there a discount for ordering direct — ?

Honest by design

No dish is named on this site. That is deliberate.

The most important blank here

Why the menu is missing

Your menu does exist online — inside UberEats, DoorDash and Clover. I could have transcribed it. I did not, for one reason: the prices in a delivery app are not your prices. They are marked up to absorb the platform’s commission.

Publishing those on a site meant to be yours would put inflated prices under your own name, and would make your direct customers pay for a middleman they are not using. That is worse than a blank page.

So: send your real menu with your real prices and this becomes the most useful page on the site.

117 Market Street

Downtown Brantford. Open late Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Closed Tuesdays.

Unofficial concept — not an official Hyderabadi Swaad website. Built by RestartIT as an unsolicited example. The restaurant did not commission it and has not reviewed it. The name, address, phone number, email, opening hours and halal status came from public business directories and the restaurant's own social media.
Anything marked like this is a deliberate blank. No dish or price is named anywhere on this site — the menu exists only inside delivery apps, and copying it from there would mean publishing platform-inflated prices as if they were yours.
